By using a Digital laser measuring device ensures the accuracy of the details that are used to create the floor plan. Measurements are given in Metres and centimetres, to the closest centremetre.

The process of taking the measurements is not disruptive. Using a digital laser measuring device, ensures quick, accurate and non intrusive measurements. No large equipment is needed. The process can also be flexible to allow moving between un occupied rooms and coming back to rooms when appropriate.

No you will not be required to do anything. just please ensure that we have access to each part of the property and that we can safely move around.
How long does it take to receive the finished plans?

You should receive your plans within a couple of days of the visit.
How long do you require in the property?

The time required for each property may be different due to size and unique features. But as long as the rooms are accessible and are safe to enter the process will be completed quickly and efficiently. So anywhere between 30mins-2hours on average, this time is used for measurements, hand drawn sketch, quick notes of details etc. The rest is done back in the office. You will receive a more accurate time scale when more details are acquired.

We include all main aspects of the property including gardens. If there are unique aspects of your property that you would like to be included then please let us know and we can measure and add them in. We also place furniture on the plans to help give a visual idea of the spaces.
